DURING THE PAST QUARTER century, Stingray Boats has missed few opportunities to excel, and is constantly evaluating
and upgrading existing popular designs. Take the 220DR. For 2006 the company has redesigned this voluminous family boat
to meet the needs of its customers. The new, improved 220DR has added passenger-side, "flip-up" bolster seats adjacent
to the helm. In addition, a redesigned walk-in head, which features a portlight and a molded, curved acrylic entry
door that's matched to the passenger-side dash, boosts the comfort level several degrees.
The Stingray 220DR continues to provide contoured bow seating as well as roomy, wraparound cockpit seating with
"filler" cushions that convert the area into a full sunpad/berth. The redesign also incorporates the model's freshwater
sink and integrated, insulated cooler behind the helm seat. The table can be set up in the bow or stern cockpit and the
bow and stern freshwater washdowns provide clean-up capabilities so helpful for active boaters.
This muscular deck boat offers a number of optional features including an extended fiberglass swim platform, Kenwood
CD transom mount remote, snap-in carpet and adjustable pedestal for single bucket seat. Pushed by the base engine's
190 hp, this boat will get you where you want to go in comfort.
