With more than 225,000 square feet of manufacturing space, Stingray boasts one of the most technologically advanced
facilities in the country. The company's state-of-the-art, robotic-driven production is responsible for some of the
most award-winning designs on the market today—not to mention quality that is literally engineered in.
Al fink founded Stingray in 1979. He set out to produce one of the best performing powerboats available in the
industry. From the meager beginning, Stingray has grown to consist of more than 20 models, with a proven reputation
for quality and performance.
Earlier this year, Stingray unveiled the 200MS, its newest, innovative, mid-engine version multi-sport boat. The
model features an all-new stringer system, complete with gravity drain, drive-shaft revolution-dampener and a Generation
II bottom.
You're wondering what this mid-engine drive is all about, aren't you? Here's the scoop: quick planing, on-plane
operation at low speeds and unmatched maneuverability. In addition, the mid-engine location allows for simple
adjustment of wake from flat to hard by trimming. The clean four-stroke power meets requirements for the year 2006.
As for the hull, it's designed for shallow-water operation, with less draft than a comparably equipped outboard.
The sharp entry at the bow results in superb lift and a dry ride. The full transom maximizes cockpit space, which
sure comes in handy when you're reeling in fish.
