I went for a short ride in a 1999 220SX in August while I was on vacation with some friends. I fell in love with the boat. As soon as I could sit down at my computer I started researching. I originally thought I would buy a 2000 model figuring there wouldn't be a 1999 model available near my home.

In October, I started searching in other states and found one in Helena, Montana (Performance Marine, Inc.) and one in Northern California. The boat in Helena had more of the features I was looking for, so my wife and I made a 12 hour trip one way, leaving on Friday night to take a look.

We weren't sure if we would like the color, but as soon as we saw it I knew we were going to purchase it. The dealer (Performance Marine) was eager to make a deal and offered it at a price that I was more than willing to pay. I thought we would have to go home and come back in a couple of weeks to pick it up, but the dealer said if everything went well with my loan I could take it home that day. A few hours later, we were on our way home with our new Stingray behind us.

We got home on Sunday afternoon and some friends came over to take a look. It was a warm afternoon so we decided take it out for a run. It was even better than we expected.
