About a week ago we purchased a 1989 198 Super Sport from a local gentleman who bought the boat new in 1989. Mind you this is a 1989 boat in the most immaculate shape you can imagine. The boat has a 5.7L MerCruiser engine that gets up and runs 65 mph all day long.

We love this boat and will be buying another Stingray when the time comes to go to a larger boat. This is our first boat and we looked at lots of new and used boats before deciding to buy this one.

Stingray, you guys and gals did a great quality of building this boat for sure. Keep up the good work. Every thing except the trip indicator and the battery gauge works.
