The Marina
“Le Merry Club” is now the biggest marina installation on Lake Memphremagog, straddling the USA/CANADA border.This marina was a boat builder more than a century ago and became famous in the 20’s for its beautiful triple decker runaboats built of solid mahogany. The last masterpiece was built for the master brewer of Molson Breweries, a gentleman going by the name of Mr. Hyde. From its earliest beginnings as a boat builder before 1900, this maritime enterprise gradually started to use its infrastructures, bought out its neighbours and became a marina in the modern sense of the word. Hence, the installations became a one-stop unique marina and dealer offering new/used boat sales and a large showroom,, boat rentals, parts/servicing, winter storage, dock rentals, gas, a nautical store, a convenience store,a wake school, all handled by competent/friendly/bilingual staff.
